Toni’s approach is to develop strong relationships based on trust, creating a safe, confidential environment for her clients. She strongly believes that her clients have all the resources they need to realise their potential and perform as 'their best selves', even if they are not immediately aware of them.
Toni remains curious, non-judgmental and encouraging in helping her clients develop their own goals, ideas, options and plans, challenging where necessary to test assumptions and self-limiting beliefs, clarify thinking, celebrate their successes and, if required, to hold them to account for what they commit to doing.
She provides space and a structure for her clients to think in an open and honest way. By listening to her clients with an attentive and open mind; asking appropriate questions and responding intuitively to their body language she increases their self-awareness in terms of their work, their role, how they currently approach it and their underlying motivation.
Before coaching Toni had over 25 years’ experience as a senior litigation lawyer with extensive private practice and regulatory experience – often working on high profile and sensitive cases. Her core analytic skills, attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture are qualities that Toni brings to her coaching. These, coupled with understanding, empathy and a calm reassuring presence, enable her clients to realise greater insights and confidently make the changes they desire and be fulfilled professionally and personally.
