Mark Beese
Mark is a coach, speaker, and consultant to law firms and other professional service organisations. He enjoys working with new Partners as they transition into role, as well as more seasoned lawyers, executive committee members and Managing Partners. Highly experienced, Mark has worked with more than 800 lawyers and business executives over the past 15 years.
His coaching style is direct and supportive, focused on helping his clients set specific goals, identify obstacles, and develop a plan to achieve their objectives. He often uses stories and conceptual models to help his clients visualise a path forward. Empathetic and quick to build, rapport, Mark’s clients value his active listening, practical insights, and supportive challenge.
Prior to becoming a coach, Mark held C-level positions with AmLaw 100 firms, and a leading firm of architects. Mark is an adjunct faculty at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he teaches strategic marketing and business development, and former adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership. He is a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management and an inductee in the Legal Marketing Association Hall of Fame for lifetime achievement. He also holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing.
Mark is certified to administer a wide range of assessments, including MBTI, DiSC, Change Style Indicator, Smart Collaboration Accelerator, and various 360-degree leadership assessments.
Outside of work Mark volunteers with the World Organization of the Scout Movement to create opportunities for youth and young adults to create a more peaceful and sustainable world.
