Approach

Cat’s coaching approach can be described as emergent, humanistic and outcomes focused. She takes a playful and systematic approach and is able to assist her clients to achieve pragmatic and sustainable behaviour change. Her ability to deeply listen allows her clients to open up and discover limiting beliefs and thinking patterns that opens the door for finding a behaviour change strategies that enables personal fulfilment and potential.

Cat’s approach to leadership and coaching is evidence based. She is a lecturer at the Australian College of Applied Professions teaching leadership coaching at post graduate level. She is currently undertaking a doctorate at University of Wollongong exploring play methods in team coaching. Cat’s coaching style is to probe, support and challenge her clients, to enable them to build self-awareness and confidence to realise change. Her strength is holding individuals accountable to their commitments and facilitating behavioural change aligned to optimising performance.

Cat is a firm believer in applying research into practice and using various applications of measurement and feedback to meet client needs.

Background

Before coaching, Cat worked with large national and international enterprises with leadership roles in Human Resources and Organisational Development across Banking, Insurance and Financial Services sector. Her previous business experience not only provided the strategic and commercial acumen of business but also gave her firsthand experience of the skills and strategies needed to lead change in large complex environments.
